Héritier d’une ancienne et grande famille de conjurateurs, Keika Yô a tout perdu après la mort de ses parents. Pour survivre, il fait de petites prédictions dans la rue et répare aussi des ordinateurs. Un jour, il croise la route de Ki Tanmoku, un mystérieux exorciste en train d’affronter un démon. Malheureusement, cette rencontre débouche sur un drame : Keika est victime d’un accident et devient un esprit. Ki passe alors un pacte avec lui, et ils coopèrent pour conjurer les démons. Une grande amitié va naître…
